At 10 a.m. on July 1, the grand ceremony marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, awarded the July 1 Medals to recipients and delivered an important speech.
